A Detailed Look At What This KitchenAid Food Processor Can Do!
KitchenAid 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor
It’s All About The Power!
This Kitchenaid food processor has an amazing 700 Watt power source that sets it above the rest. Almost all the other processors have between 400-600 Watts and only this Kitchenaid packs a powerful 700 Watt punch. So what does this mean for you? This means that this Kitchenaid is like the bodybuilder of food processors i.e. it can seriously kick some butt in the kitchen and is extremely reliable. You don’t have to worry about this machine sizzling out and not doing its job. It will do what you need it to do and you don’t have to worry about over stressing it.
Surprising Quiet
One would think that with all that power, it would sound like a raging beast right? Nope! This machine is amazingly quiet unlike other food processors that really make their presence known. Kitchenaid’s engineers thoughtfully added a completely sealed housing so that noise could be drastically reduced. So, if you need raw processing power, but without the roar- this Kitchenaid definitely delivers.
Two Appliances In ONE! – Food Processor + Mini Chopper
This machine also comes with another smaller bowl (4 cup capacity) and mini blades. This is great if you don’t have a ton of stuff to process and just need a mini chopper for chopping small amounts of vegetables, seasonings and other food stuffs. This is quite convenient because if you’re like me, you don’t want to have to clean more than necessary! Using the bigger bowl for small chopping jobs makes no sense, as the clean up is the same as if you were processing large amounts of ingredients. However, with this handy small bowl and blade, I can now process those small food items and have only a small bowl to wash up after! Genius I think ;)
Dual Feed Tubes: The Kitchenaid Food Processor Makes Your Life Easier
This machine has dual feed tubes which mean that it can handle large, narrow and somewhat long pieces of food. You don’t have to worry about cutting up your food into minute pieces, that’s why you have a processor! Let the Kitchenaid do the work for you... like it should. Plus, with the 700 Watt power source, this acts as extra assurance that this appliance has the muscle to handle anything.

- Amazing solid bowl and great build quality
- Very fast, you can use it to make butter, shred blocks of cheese, mayonnaise, Wolfgang Puck's Apple Coleslaw, guacamole and whatever exotic recipes you have in mind.
- Definitely worth the price tag and will last you for many many years. The KitchenAid KFP750OB 700-Watt 12-Cup Food Processor won’t disappoint!
Negative Reviews:
- One person claimed that the processor did not act as a 12 cup when liquid is added i.e. it had serious liquid limitations. However, other reviewers also stated that they made soups, mayonnaise and other liquid based foods in their kitchenaid and have gotten 7+ cups from it. It is important to note that food processors are not blenders and thus, are designed for chopping and processing foods with not a lot added water. It is advisable that you practise common sense when adding water and monitor the levels as you go for best results (there is a fill line on the bowl)
- It’s a bit on the big side, but is so gorgeous looking that you’ll be proud to showcase it in your kitchen
- Some people have experienced minor leaks but these can be avoided by watching the liquid level and making sure that all the parts snap into place (lids, bowls, blades etc.)
